In a fenced property of 1.450 m² perimeter is located this beautiful house of 140 m² built with an original distribution, where the exterior rooms have great prominence, allowing you to enjoy the wonderful natural environment.
One of the main attractions of this tourist accommodation is its proximity to the famous Caminito del Rey, a path built on the walls of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, one of the most popular tourist spots in the province of Malaga. A privileged location that allows you to enjoy the Pantano del Chorro reservoir in summer and a wide range of hiking trails in winter, as the cottage La Zamarrilla is located in a natural park.
The house was renovated from an old farmhouse typical of the mountains of Malaga and maintains its original essence and its construction in stone and wood, with white exterior walls and the characteristic design of this type of country building.
The holiday accommodation consists of a living room with fireplace and TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and two bedrooms, one with two bunk beds and the other with two single beds. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds and a toilet. In total, this holiday accommodation can accommodate up to 11 people.
The outdoor areas are decorated with traditional elements and various atmospheres, in a covered terrace are the dining area and summer lounge, and in another large space with clay floor is the pool designed as a traditional pool, barbecue and wood oven.
The house is equipped with wifi, air conditioning in the main bedroom and radiators in all the bedrooms. The house is cool in summer and thanks to its fireplace it is a cosy and warm place during the winter months.
On the land, there are several olive trees, almond trees and other fruit trees such as orange and lemon trees, etc. There is also a vegetable garden and a chicken coop.
Stone and wood, preserved and restored with all respect to their original essence, give this house that style and warmth you are looking for your best rural getaway to nature. Getting away from the noise of the city and getting in tune with nature are necessary options to unwind and spend a dream holiday with family or friends.
This attractive property is located in a privileged natural environment that offers spectacular panoramic views from the house as well as absolute privacy. It has good access by a 500 metres dirt road in good condition.
The Natural Park El Chorro is a natural area with special environmental protection that brings exclusivity to the property, located in the foothills of the Sierra de las Nieves, about 60 km from Malaga, offers unique places such as the famous Caminito del Rey, just 2.5 km away from the property, a unique aerial path built into the walls of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes. The Pantano del Chorro reservoir, 4 km away, offers an inland beach with the first blue flag of the Andalusian community. Furthermore, the house is only 2.5 km from El Chorro train station with a direct connection to Malaga city.

Any cancellation or amendment request must be done sending to us in writing, by email, fax or post, and will take effect on the day we receive the request.
There will be no refunds if the client voluntarily decides to stop using the services included in the holiday before the end of his/her stay.
In case the apartment could not be occupied because of unforeseen reasons, not attributable to the company, the company has the right to substitute the original accommodation by other with the same or superior characteristics, without any additional payment.
